Modern bookshelf by Barcelona-based Mermelada Estudio is informed by classic art deco design with its rich burl wood veneer, precisely diamond-matched for symmetry and a pleasing aesthetic. Slim satin black uprights frame three shelves and a cabinet below. Legs are capped with brass to match the circular brass pulls. Brass is unlacquered, offering a living finish with the patina of a vintage find.
